2019 Essex County Parks and Recreation Summer Camp!!!!

General Information
  • You must create an account to sign your child up for camp.
  • There are NO refunds for absences from camp.
  • There are NO daily or semi weekly sign ups for camp.
  • The camps include games, crafts, sports, and swimming.
  • The camps will be held at Essex Intermediate School.
  • Staff are NOT permitted to dispense medications.
  • Registration opens on February 18, 2019.
  • There will be 8 week sessions that will star June 24 and there are 25 spots per session.
  • We do reading time and math time each day with the campers in order to help the children retain their school work.
  • The children should dress in play cloths and wear tennis shoes because we play inside and outside and get dirty.
  • We want the children to have fun and learn.

Additional Information
  • During the camp hours for information about your child – Please call the Parks and Recreation Office at 443-2470 or 445-0303..
  • Campers must bring their bathing suit – we will have pool time everyday unless we have thunder storms. Please bring a towel, water shoes, etc. whatever they need to go swimming.
  • All campers must where tennis shoes and comfortable play clothes. They will be playing games and doing crafts so they may get their clothes dirty and for safety reasons they need shoes they can easily run in.
  • We will also have reading time each day so if your child has a special book that they are reading have them bring it – if not books will be provided. All campers will be working on their Summer Reading List!!
  • Please Remember that children are not allowed to bring cell phones, electric devices, or games to camp! We will not be responsible for them.
  • Breakfast and Lunch will be provided. Please pack a snack for the afternoon.
  • The Essex County Camp Staff reserves the right to search your child’s belongings if we have just cause.
  • Be sure you have entered your child's medical allergies or special medical conditions into their profile.
